Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the BuildLoops.ai platform and related services (the "Service"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the BuildLoops Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

BuildLoops reserves the right to update this AUP as the regulatory landscape for AI tools evolves. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance.

1. General Conduct

You agree to use the Service in a manner that is lawful, ethical, and respectful of others. You shall not use the Service in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

  • Infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.

  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or constitutes a phishing or social engineering scheme.

  • Is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination.

  • Promotes illegal activities or provides instructions for illegal conduct.

2. Prohibited Uses of the Service

You may not use the Service to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, prompts, Loop architectures, or underlying AI models of the Service.

  • Build, train, or improve any competing product, service, or AI model using the Service, its Outputs, or data derived from it.

  • Systematically extract, scrape, or harvest data, prompts, or Output patterns from the Service for commercial use outside the scope of your normal use.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or any related systems, networks, or data.

  • Introduce viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malware, or other harmful code into the Service.

  • Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access the Service except through our published APIs.

  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, rate-limiting, or access-control features of the Service.

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service or any Outputs without our prior written consent.

  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

3. Prohibited Uses of AI Outputs

AI-generated Outputs from BuildLoops are guidance tools, not professional advice. You may not:

  • Present, distribute, or sell Outputs as professional legal, financial, tax, investment, medical, or clinical advice without clearly disclosing that the guidance was AI-generated and without independent verification by a qualified professional.

  • Use Outputs to make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals (such as employment decisions, credit decisions, or housing decisions) without meaningful human review and oversight.

  • Use Outputs in connection with high-risk activities where AI errors could lead to death, personal injury, or significant property or environmental damage, including life support systems, emergency response, autonomous vehicles, or nuclear facilities.

  • Use Outputs to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead any person or entity.

  • Use Outputs to create or distribute deepfakes, disinformation, or synthetic content designed to manipulate public opinion or interfere with elections.

  • Use Outputs in any manner that violates applicable AI regulations, including the EU AI Act, the Colorado AI Act, the California AI Transparency Act, or similar legislation.

4. Content Restrictions

You may not submit Content to the Service that:

  • Contains special categories of personal data (health, biometric, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, trade union membership) of third parties without their explicit, informed consent and a lawful basis for processing under applicable law.

  • Contains sensitive personal identifiers of third parties (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government-issued identification numbers, or passwords) unless strictly necessary and with appropriate consent.

  • Was obtained illegally or in violation of any contractual obligation (such as non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality obligations owed to a third party).

  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that exploits minors in any way.

  • Contains content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or incites violence.

5. Resource and Access Limits

To ensure fair access for all users:

  • You may not attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or quota restrictions associated with your Subscription tier.

  • You may not share account credentials with unauthorized users or allow others to access the Service through your account.

  • You may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent free-tier limitations.

6. Enforcement

BuildLoops reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may, at our discretion and with notice where practicable:

  • Issue a warning and request corrective action.

  • Temporarily suspend your access to the Service.

  • Permanently terminate your account.

  • Remove or disable access to Content that violates this AUP.

  • Report violations to law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate.

For paid subscribers, we will provide notice before suspension or termination except where immediate action is required to protect the security or integrity of the Service, other users, or the public.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to support@buildloops.ai. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
